The place where the children’s playhouse in your yard is located must be a safe spot where you can feel assured that nothing would happen to them. If you have that playhouse where they can stay unmolested, that will be about the best place to let them stay while enjoying their games. Just be sure that the playhouse is well equipped with the toddler table and chair set so they will be comfortable in their stay. It will be tragic to let something happen that you could very well avoid, which could bring any harm to the children while they are enjoying their long school vacation.

Have the playhouse located as much as possible far away way to the back of your compound, safely away from the road, especially of there is always vehicular traffic passing by. This is to ensure that no vehicular accident will happen to the kids, who may not be aware of the danger of being run over by passing cars. Some children are quite careless, thinking that just because they are at home they can just go out into the street as they please. When kids are alone by themselves and nobody is watching them they tend to be so confident of their safety.

If the playhouse is located such that Mom cannot see the kids from her kitchen every now and then, maybe she can ask them to put the kids table and chair outside the playhouse temporarily in a spot where she can monitor them from her kitchen window. In this manner, Mom can be sure everything is all right with the kids while they are at play.

Kids can be so quiet sometimes especially if they are engrossed in the games like the jigsaw puzzles, that one would not know what is happening to them. It is better perhaps for Mom to put away first the jigsaw puzzles and ask the children instead to play games where they have to be shouting or otherwise being noisy, so she can have an idea of what they are doing even just through hearing them.

One game they can play perhaps is the trip to Jerusalem game where they can use the kids table, and the chairs, for the game. Mom should perhaps participate in this by playing the music for the game from her kitchen CD, so she will not be totally out of touch with the children. 

It will quite sad to have anything untoward happen to the kids while they are on break from their studies. So if you can manage it, hire somebody to be with the kids out in the yard who can at the same time teach them some skills, like playing with some musical instruments. By your hiring the teacher on the musical instrument, you solve at least the problem of who looks after the children at certain hours of the day.
